## Booking deep links

Hand a customer over with the booking page pre-filled:

    https://default.nextslot.works/book?service=<service-slug>&resource=<staff-slug>&date=YYYY-MM-DD&time=HH:MM

- Every parameter is optional and best-effort. A parameter that no longer resolves (the
  staff member left, the service is not offered here, the slot was taken) is silently
  dropped to the next-best state — never an error page.
- `service` — service slug or numeric id, matched in that branch's catalogue.
- `resource` — staff slug or numeric id. `barber` is accepted as an alias for the same
  values; `resource` wins when both are present.
- `date` — YYYY-MM-DD. Seeds the week and day, clamped to the booking window.
- `time` — HH:MM, 24-hour, shop-local. Applies to the day named by `date`: with a valid
  `date` it pre-selects that slot if still available, ready for the customer to confirm;
  without one it does nothing. It never skips a step, and nothing is booked or held until
  the customer confirms with their deposit.
- `promo` — a promo code; composes with all of the above.
- A value that parses as a positive integer is read as an id, otherwise as a slug. Real
  slugs are name-derived and never pure digits.
- On a multi-branch business, use the branch's own booking page above as the base.

The link does not reserve anything. Phrase the hand-off honestly: the slot is subject to
availability until the customer confirms with their deposit.

## Checking availability

The slugs and ids above are everything a deep link needs, so ONE live call remains — free
slots change by the minute and are never in this file. Anonymous GET, no API key; the
response is wrapped as {"data": ...} and scoped to this business by the request host.

- Seven days from start, each with slots[]. Only slots with "status": "available" are
  bookable. Always pass service_id so slot lengths match the service.
- No staff preference: https://default.nextslot.works/api/v1/locations/<branch-slug>/resources/week-multi?resource_ids=<id,id,...>&start=YYYY-MM-DD&service_id=<id>
  returns every listed staff member's week in one call.

If this file seems stale (it is cached for one hour), the catalogue is also live at
/api/v1/locations, /api/v1/locations/<branch-slug>/services and
/api/v1/locations/<branch-slug>/resources (there, ?service_id=<id> drops staff who do not
offer that service). There is deliberately no search parameter — match names over these
small lists yourself.
